hi guys, would a celeron D 2.7 ghz/128/400 sl77s that according to intel's website supports socket mpga478 work on a mobo that has a socket mpga478b ?
(note the only diff is the "b" at the end)

I've been looking and from what I can tell, since it really isn't clear, that yes it will fit.

As far at Socket 478 and Socket 478B are used interchangeably makes me believe that the 478B was a technical improvement on 478.

thanks for replying GT500Shlby, it actually did fit, the machine is running perfectly, i guess all what really matters is the socket number and the letters as you said are improvements.
