Moderm problem

hey guys its been a while since the last time I posted. hope you are ok

Anyways I have a problem with my pc and I was hoping you guys could help me.

the problem is that everytime I try to connect to the net using a dial up moderm my computer will shut down.
before I use the DSL it was working fine, but now that I have switch back to Dial up, its shutting down my PC.

try a diffrent moderm?
