Last night my monitor randomly lost all of the red color in it. Now anything that is red displays black and the colors on my monitor are UGLY!!! Is there anything that I could do to fix this? I don't have the money to buy a new monitor!

What really sux is that this monitor is only 3 years old!

EDIT: OMG it is back! I accidentally hit my comp and knocked out the monitor cable, so I put it back, and my color is fixed! WHAT IS HAPPENING???? This is weird!

Screw down your monitor cable. Chances are it had worked a little loose from the connection and wasn't fully plugged in. Screwing it down should solve that.

that's my thought as well. i did the same thing the other day with my daughter's comp, because the screws on the monitor plug don't match up to the video card (they are older comps). anyway, that should have been the problem.

Thx atno...I screwed them on....even though I hate unscrewing them when I need to work on something. Problem is that I got the 5 foot long 6800 so I need to take it out most of the time so I have room to work inside my case!
