Hi everybody, I've looked for this problem for several days and I decided to ask help in this excelent forum.

My Notebook acer travelmate 2450 isn't start correctly.
After boot, only appears the following msg "operation system not found". Futhermore, I can't boot linux or windows by CDROM, because when I open the "boot menu" only has the network drive, my cdrom,my HD and the other devices don't appear there.
Moreover, in PhoenixBIOS Setup Utility, the HDD serial number and the HDD Model Number are like "strange codes" visibly an error, they aren't the HDD serial number and the HDD Model Number respectively.
I suspect my motherboard is broken.

And what do you think about that?

Sorry my english.
Since now I thanks.
