I am currently in the midst of purchasing a new motherboard to replace my poorly functioning motherboard.

So I am wondering on which model and/or make would be a wise purchase. I normally use an intel based chipset, however maybe switching to an amd product would be a benefical choice.

And also, would having a 64 bit motherboard/cpu be usefull at this time...?

just wondering that's all

thanks

well if ur looking for that ull have to upgrade ur whole system... but there is a motherboard that supports AGP and pci-e witch is very cool so you can upgrade when u need to

Also i need to know some things

How many watts is ur psu and what company is it made by

how many pins does the big plug that u plug into ur motherboard have 20 or 24 ?

if you want to stay with AGP you can get the new 6800 GS AGP version

but thats about it so all we need is how much ur willing to spend

one last thing what will you be using this for ? gaming or just office work
