Need help installing video card on cp with onboard video

:( I am unable to get a nvidea fx5200plus pci card to work on my hp 505n. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you try reading the manual?

What problem are you having exactly?

Also, there is no need to post the same request in multiple forums. People will see your questions, and if they can offer help, they will. Repeating your request simply puts people off wanting to help you.

You may have to go into the bios and disable the onboard video.

I't does sound like the onboard video needs to be shut off, though i've seen some funny things when it comes to nvidia & HP :wink:

at least on my computer there was an actual jumper on the motherboard that i had to change and put on "disable" to make sure that onboard 3d card wouldn't kick in and conflict with my exisiting pci 3d card.

don't know if it's ur case, and don't know if my computer was SPECIAL ahhaha ;)

but maybe you could check it out?
