heyy..

i am having computer problems.. its hard to explain but ill try.. well my tower works fine..i turn it on and then the monitor is just a blank screen and the little light showing its on..is on and its a yellow-orange color? and it usually is green..i dont know whats wrong with my computer but i really need help because i want my own computer back again

that means your screen is in stand by,make sure all the cables to the screen and the video card are pluged in and are tight

even if they are,because of all the pins in the plug if it is a little bit loose it can cause it to not get a signal

i tried and i put in all the plugs as hard as i can and its still a black screen..all i see is that orange light..and i know what you mean i just dont know whats going on..recently i had to get a new power supply and i did

when u were putting the new PSU in,did u knock the video card loose from the socket?or is it a on board?

its a socket..i really dont know because my brother did it and hes good with computers but yah he probably did knock it loose

yeah,other than something like that,i dont really know,because you cant even get to anything like the bios to see what is going on....but just check or have your brother check everything again and make sure...

oh, that happened to me. make sure the 4-pin processor power thing from the PSU is plugged in. that was my problem. :o.
