Need help with setting up a Netgear router

hi all,

sorry for all the constant trouble but I`m new to all this tech stuff and appreciate all of the assistance you have given me thus far.

in any case, i have just purchased a new netgear wgm124 router for our school. after installing the software program and entering our school`s network domain name the wireless connection between our wireless pcs and laptop doesn`t work with the router. Is there any other information that I must include in the setup wizard such as dhcp info, etc.?

If anyone could help, I would greatly appreciate it.

Can you connect to the router at all from the laptop? Is it out of reach?

I can connect to the router in terms of viewing the netgear software at 192.168.1.1 However, there is no Internet or network connection. Can you help?
