Hey all so glad I found a sight like this. Right now i'm having a little trouble I have just bought new Motherboard and CPU.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6813131541 - Mobo

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 819103535- CPU

Now I installed hooked everything up turned it on and it sounded great.

I look up and my monitor isnt turning on. My GPU fan is working no problem tho.

My GPU is Geforce 4 Ti 4200 128DDR it had no problem in the last motherboard I had infact its a very great card. I am just baffled*sp* as to what could be wrong any thoughts?

edit: I tried my old Vodoo 4 still the same thing thinking I have a bad AGP slott.

Sounds more like a processor problem... can you try putting your new processor on your old system?

Chances are it's a bad processor or mobo... start by switching the pieces around... I have never personally witnessed the AGP slot go bad...

Try to switch the RAM module to another slot. If you using more than one, try to leave just one, may be any RAM module is defective. Leave hooked just your Video Card, RAM and processor and try to power up the system. May be the problem is from HDD, CD-ROM or expansion card.
