Model: Encore Electronic ENRTR-104

# of PCs: 2

Problem description:

When I try to put two comps on network so I can acess their Hard disks, compA sees the compB, but compB don't see the compA. Everything's well installed, well configured, router is well configured. I just can't do a network from compB to compA.

The thing that stinks is that I have a LAN party held sunday, which includes compA, compB and compC, but I can't make the connection between compA and compB only.

What's wrong?

Well if you had one laying around I would imagine you could do a peer to peer much easier and then route them all through the router. Just a thought, may not even work.....lol

I did what I could in my whole knowledge, and I doubt P2P will work

found the prob: CompA OSis screwed. CompC can see compB and vice versa. I should have known that hacked versions of WinXP won't work as well as the original
