Ok my office bought these linksys wireless cameras and a wireless router, but im having trouble communicating with the router at my current computer. The reason this is important is because all the cameras communicate with the wireless router. I want this computer to use the camera client to record video. My current computer is connected to a switch, which is connected to the LAN connection on the wall. The wireless router is connected to the LAN on a wall, but a couple rooms away. Doesn't this mean theyre all on the same network? All the computers in the office belong to a domain also...does that mean i have to set the router up for the domain? Any workarounds are appreciated!

Every wireless devise uses frequency and channel to communicate. Probably there is a conflict with the channel on which your devices working and another wireless network. Try to change the channel from the settings.

actually itd not the wireless connection that doesnt work, because whenever the computer is connected directly to the wireless router, it can see the wireless cameras.

i want this current connection to work:
<my computer>---------<switch>----------<wall>------<router>------<camera>

but only this works:

<wall>------<router>------------<Camera>
-------------<computer> ( computer is connected to the router)
