Now to figure out do I use Win XP Pro 32 or Win Xp Pro 64.

I would definitely recommend Windows XP Pro 32-bit over Windows XP Pro 64-bit. 64-bit has shown basically no improvements as far as performance goes and the OS is still riddled with bugs and compatibility issues (the driver support is severly lacking). Another thing to consider is do you really need Win XP Pro? I would say the majority of it's features are useless for the average user.

How would you not pay for it? I hope you're not implying piracy because that topic is strictly forbidden at Ozzu.

You know that's most likely illegal right?

Oh, as long as it's not been used by him. Why would you think the OP would be in the same situation as you though?

I have an MSDN Volume License Subscription. One payment a year and you get anything microsoft. I have XP Pro, server 2003, longhorn betas. Most are VLK capable, but the download on MSDN's site is for non-VLK 64bit.

Ok, Mobo, Memory, vid card, Proc all in the case and it posts. I have to manually tweak the latency timings, but other than that the memory functions 100%.

I need to put in the DVD and the HDD and I need to put a floppy drive in it just to load windows.

I'm going to take a break and have a gourmet dinner on the water. Take out chinese on the boat anchored on the river 200 feet from the inlet to the marina.

I'll be back later and I'll post when I get her up and running.
