I just got my first mac - and while im used to working with macs all the time at the university, and can troubleshoot a pc no problem, i'm finding it hilarious that I cant even get connected to the internet on my new powerbook.

I have a linksys router which a pc has been operating wirelessly off of fine... the power book dosent seem to pick up on it at all.

where do i start to configure this?
all the instructions talk about is configuring airport express stuff under the network settings, which isnt given as an option... i know this compuiter comes standard with a airport card built in...and the manuals says itll work with the router - so what do i need to do to get it to work?
