Non-Metal Computer Cases

I have a wild-hair idea of trying to create a computer case out of plexiglass. My biggest hurdle at the momment is how do I ground the motherboard since I will have no metal or should I say no "planned" metal inside the case.

Any and all help appreciated

Your motherboard will still be grounded by the power connector. The only problem you might encounter is interference. Since the computer will not be contained in metal, you may get RF emanations that could effect radio, TV, etc.

I would definitely recommend against using plexiglass to create a case. Although it has been done safely and the end result is really cool there is a huge risk involved. Plexiglass attracts static electricity and although the power supply grounds your computer if you ever have to shut off your power supply your entire computer will be vulnerable.

Acrylic may be a better choice.
