Sometimes, when playing game runs about a steady 85C

he wants to know if thats bad, and i dont know.

PS. he got his computer from compaq bout 2002/2003

his specs.

Intel P4 2.8 GHz
512mb ram
60 gb hard drive
this card
and no curculation what so ever

Well thats the issue then I would say, no circulation.Yes thats pretty bad, he is lucky it hasnt blown by now. I would suggest him getting a third party cooler on the card or getting some case fans.
My x800xt only runs @about 42/45 c.

Well he cant get any fanes for his case. his mom got it for him about 2 or three years ago any theres no where to put anymore fans.

however, if i or if he gets this fan: http://www.xoxide.com/giantiii.html

how could i put it on? i've taken apart his comp pice by pice to clean dust (nothing improved execpt for CPU temp {bout 4ºc} )

but when i saw how his 5600 card fan was on it did not look like it could be removed. But if it could i may need help. and if he helps it will be the death of his pc

Get a big box fan and make that the case side. Plug it into an outlet and off it rips. Or a few nice holes in the side of the case at the GPU level with a few nice 120mm's with molex connectors.

When in doubt, mod it out!

There should be 2-4 lil plastic tabs which would be visible from the bottom of the card, these would need to be popped upward to remove the original heat sink. The heatsink referenced above says a universal clip comes with it.
