Nvidia 6800 and Doom 3

A friend of mine just bought a top of the line 6800 card. His box is running a p 4 3.0 gigahrtz processor with 2 gigs of ram. If you are on the fence about upgrading, he is getting 46 frames per sec on Doom 3 with everything turn on. All of the details are so clear the lines its unbelievable and smooth as silk. I can't wait to see half life 2 on it.

yep I got the normal 6800 128MB and Doom 3 runs sweet! Half Life 2 is an old game :shock: :) and is so designed for the Radion 9800pro at 60FPS... reviews of the games should be in magazines this month.

its kinda weird cuz my friend tried to install doom 3 on my pc but it never shows up it finishes installing and there is no icon no nothing

i have a p4 2.4 ghz 512 mb ram 80 gb hard drive and an ati radeon 9600 se anyone know wat the problem is ??

Its not hardware related. Is it a legal copy and we need information on software and operating system?
