Nvidia Display Drivers Question

You know in the nvidia driver control panel under performance and quality settings > image quality >

If you set that to High Perforamnce/High Quality will this actually effect the image quality of your desktop and when viewing videos/pictures and other things or just if you where in a game?

It sets Anti Aliasing and Anisotropic filtering to their highest settings.

So yes it should affect the quality of everything display related.
