I was playing CS Source (bout 3 hours strait) And My graphics card went Bazoooka! The fan that covers the GPU. (i think) well it fell off and dont ask me how. and cut into the card ( and fell onto my Modem and snaped it). so now i have to use the crapiest card in the world...thats right the Radeon 7000 VE 32mb!!. what the hell happend and what could i have done to stop it? My card is the nVida Geforce 5900 XT 128mb.

Should i get it again? it ran SOOOO good withh all my games. Smoothe as silk

Or should i get one of these cards?:

Let me get this straight:
The FAN fell off your vid card, and snapped your MODEM in half. Is that right?

Get neither, get a current generation grapfics card like a 6600GT. These will run current games far better than either of thoes and dont cost that much.

The 6600 only comes in a PCIE flavor, which i doubt you have if you had a 5900XT.

I never bothered looking at the link. Ive never seen a AGP 6600 and i never thought that nVidia would bother making one. But as it is AGP then grab it, its better than the 5900XT.

lmao. This is the most funniest accident I've ever heard.

Anyhow, I'd reccomend to get a card that the fan sits up instead of down. Probably a Geforce 6800 GT
