PC100 100 MHZ SDram vs PC3200 DDR 400 Mhz

I have a motherboard that support PC3200 DDR 400 Mhz, it doesnt say anything else about other types of memories... would any of you guys know if it would recognize a PC100 100 MHZ SDram? (dont ask why :oops: )

No need to ask why, we've all been there :) (Why spend a fortune on new memory when you have perfectly good old memory)

PC100 and PC3200 are two different architectures. PC100 has 168 pins and PC3200 has 184 pins. You won't even be able to fit the old memory in the slots on your new mobo (without a sledge hammer, at least)
