i was thinking about upgrading my older pc. It has a "Slot 1" Cpu and its 500Mhz. How ever the fastest "Slot 1" Cpu i found runs at 866Mhz. I thought it was a good deal b/c it was only bout $30. If anyone Has a link to a faster "Slot 1" (lol) Cpu I'd apreeshiate it if you could give it to me :) . Also It only has PCI slots No AGP PCI-e etc. And we all know PCi Sux (To slow to run most games) But I dont really have a choice B/c My Inergreated graphics card can't run ANY games that i put in because It does'nt support D3d or HAL (Not Even Fukin T&L though it says it does) . In fact the only game it has been able to play is Soldier Of Fortune. (i Hate That Game BUt Online Play Is O.k.) Any To the point, Will This or any PCI card play the Game "HALO PC" With the lowest Settings? (For My little Bro so we can play lan :) )

If Halo Will Just not work through PCI interface, Wich is the best deal?
I Remember Play halo on a 5200 before, but it was AGP. Will it still run on pci? (The names cooler. :) )
Btw Halo just says it needs a 32mb card that supports T&L (not really) and suporrts d3d and hal thats it. Thx pplz

HALO REQUIREMENTS:

Halo PC Requirements:
CPU: 733 MHz
RAM: 128MB
HDD Space: 1.2GB
Graphics Card: 32MB / 3D T&L capable, GeForce 2+ recommended
Halo PC Suggested Requirements:
CPU: 1.4GHz+
RAM: 512MB
HDD Space: 1.5GB, with an additional 3MB per screenshot, plus approximately 4.6MB for each patch downloaded
Graphics Card: A GeForce4 Ti 4200 or equivalent will let you play smoothly at 800x600 with Pixel Shaders. GeForce4 MX cards are not recommended: their "4" is a misnomer.

Go with the Sapphire card or the FX5500. What confused me about the FX5500 128Mb from that website was that the FX5500 256Mb was the same price as the 128Mb :P

Could you not just create a budget to get a new mobo with AGP and CPU ? It might work out better in the long run.
