Not sure if this is correct forum or not, sorry if its not.

On one of my machines at work a blue screen has appeared saying "Dumping Physical Memory" and a timer going up.

Does anyone know what this means and if its a good or bad thing,

For the record, i have Windows 2000 Professional as the OS.

When the computer has a problem some times you can review the memory to find out which program caused the error. What were you doing when you had the dump and the BSOD? Does it always happen at a specific time or with a specific program?

Well, it wasnt actually me that was on the machine when it happened. I know that it was opening the Autocad program when it did this. And it does happen quite often,
