hey all -

i just purchased a new case/psu and mobo. my mobo is a standard 20 pin ATX connector, but i just realized i purchased a 12V psu with a 20+4 pin connector. Can i still use this psu or will it blow up my system?

thanks! here are details of the parts if needed:

It will work just fine. Just slide those extra 4 pins off the main connector.

even if it was one solid 24 piece thing you can still leave the extra 4 hanging off it doesent matter.

According to this post http://www.ozzu.com/hardware/new-mobo-new-case-new-psu-new-headache-t63096.html that may not have been very good advice, just my 2 cents.
