I discover 10 days ago that my CPU ventilator don't works, so I bought a new one, but it don't works too !
I tried the new ventilator in another computer ( I connect it into the motherboard ) and it wokrs perfectly !!
I'm sure that the problem is from my Motherboard Ventilator connector, by the way I have an Asus 133 motherboard, and I need someone to help me to creat another 12v connectivity from the ATX power supply.
Please help me !!
Thank you .

You can splice the red connector from your fan to any yellow wire and the black to any black wire.

If you read his post more clearly he says to splice the red wire from the fan to ANY yellow wire and the black wire from your fan to ANY black wire. Preferrably one coming from the power supply that isn't being used to power anything else.

There are also adapters that you can get from places like http://www.newegg.com that will allow you to just plug in the 3 pin plug from the CPU to an adapter that goes to a standard 4 pin molex connector like the type that you use to plug in to your hard drive.

It sounds like this might be the safest thing for you to do Yassinje.

just go buy a dang converter at the computer store that turns it to a molex..then just plug it in an unused molex plug....(Molex = 4 pin plug with 1 - yellow 2 - black and 1 - red wire leading to it...)
