There's an old saying: "You have questions, I have Guns; You need answers, I need target practice."
I have that engraved on a peice of cherry wood and hung above my office door at work.

dude, all I can say is that you havn't slept through noise until you've slepted through SCSI drives that sound like turbines to begin with and FBSD doing periodical jobs at 3AM. First time that happened to me was like 9 years ago, I was passed out drunk and I heard what sounded like an f14 taking off under my bed (I had a loft bed with my comp desk under it). I jump up, nail my head on my ceiling and go "HOLY %#^!Q#%# I'M BEING OWNED!!!"
Yeah.... I got used to that REAL quick.
sounds like me after the alarm doesnt work and lets me wait for my radio
it is turned to max volume(the max volume is like 45 with 3 ticks for each level of intensity) on wakeup and on my metal station
what!! it gets me up!
when we lived in north carolina i slept through hurricane fran(no exaguration whatsoever!!!!!) it was a cat 2 when it hit our house!

Lol, I wasn't even going to bother posting the various skeletal zombie machines lurking around my room. Come to think of it, that's pretty mean to my REAL machines. I'll have to rebuild a big server or something.

Anyone have an animated GIF of RoboPeter from Family Guy. Everytime I see that I snort milk out of my nose...and I'm not even drinking milk.

Well, i have a server and i thought i would post the specs of it
Render Rig
2 x Intel Xeon 2.4Ghz - Overclocked to 3.0Ghz with H/T
2 x Thermaltake HSF's
2 x 180mm's Case fans
NCCH-DL Asus Mobo
2GB DDR 400 RAM
7200 40gbHD
ATI 9200se
Compared to my rig in the past pages, this one kicks ass. It is perfect for 3d rendering, nearly 5x faster than my P4 machine
with building myself and shopping around, the whole machine cost me £550 LOL... it does sound like a plane taking off though.
