I received two new servers when I was in the Marines that had 5 SCSI 15k hard drives and 4 180mm fans. When both powered up at the same time it was insanely loud. They weren't rack mounts.

I have a question about servers. When you are running a dedicated game server, would I be correct in saying that a graphics card does not factor at all? I thought that dedicated servers do only calculations and no graphic computations at all.

graphics are not a big deal when dealing with servers. However, you do need one so you can hook a monitor to it. Servers are more for processing power and efficiency than making something look pretty.
