cd problem

ok my dvd/cd drive can play anything playing is not the problem

well my cd drive isn't detected on boot and is not on my comp screen i have to add new hardware every time i wont to use it (which does get annoying may i add)

any who it started doing this then stopped but now it started again

and i don't know why?

it is connected properly because after i added it it works fine

It sounds like a BIOS problem to me. Make sure that the drive detection is set to auto. If that doesn't work, choose default settings.
