problem with latest graphic driver

when i was using the driver that accompanied my graphic card, i had no problem at all.. but when i downloaded for the latest driver on nvidia's site (77.72_win2kxp_english)...i had problem viewing videos...it like as if i am watching video with the most minimun drivers installed... just like watching video in safe mode... i hope you guys can help me...thanks

Uninstall the new driver and reinstall the old driver.

first..the drive name you gave is for windows 2000 and XP..do you have one of those OS's?..

2nd..with new drivers you may need to mess with the setting to get the "way of viewing" back that you hade on your old drivers...

just a couple ideas...XDUDE

i did uninstall my old driver... and then i installed the latest driver... yes my OS is XP... i tried to change some settings but nothing happened... i don't know what other settings do i need to reconfigure...

that might be your problem..install your old ones and then install the new ones OVER the old ones.....try that

I don't think you understood me. Here it is again:

1. Uninstall the driver that aren't working (the new ones)
2. Reinstall the drivers that do work (the old ones)

Simple answer but it should fix your problem.

make sure video hardware acceleration is turned on to Max
