I recently was given an old Gateway P5-200 server, which originally came with 16megs of SDRAM, which I have now upgraded to 64megs on a single stick. Only problem is that the BIOS and also windows tell me I still only have 16megs, anybody any suggestions - jumper settings etc that I can try.

Thanks.

What kind of ram is it ?
Regular PC66 SDRAM is not compatible, and will only register 1/4 of the memory in these systems.
Strong with this one, the sudo is.

Not sure, but I'd say thats my problem, is it safe to leave the PC100 stick in there..? or should I take it back out?

If the heat is excessive....(you can tell by the way touching it melts your skin) then no. Otherwise if heat isnt a problem and your POS isnt running errors all over then you should be fine.
