I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the RAM from the "digital computer" is not compatible with your Dell.

Considering the Dell Dimension 2400 uses DDR RAM, I seriously doubt an old PC is using DDR.

What exactly is a digital computer anyway? Who makes it?
