I am building my own computer and I have bought all of the parts except for the processor, motherboard and the RAM. Right now I have $290 left in my budget. What sort of parts do you guys recommend for that kind of money? I want a GB of RAM but no more.

i dont think you will be able to find a gb of ram plus a motherboard and a processor for that kinda money. raise your budget up a hundred dolllars or so and you might be able to pull it off.

Nah, that's easy. Here.

There you go, a decent motherboard/CPU and a gig of ram for around 60 bucks less then your budget.

The extra 60 is plenty for getting a heatsink and fan since the mobo/cpu combo doesn't come with one.
