PSU help

hi,
just a doubt whether could i repair a psu... :D never done it before...
my friends psu is giving some problem and i'm planning to change it... but before that just want to find out whether i could fix it myself... please guide...

NO !!! DO NOT EVEN ATTEMPT TO REPAIR A PSU. Even if the PSU is switched off, the components inside can still hold an electrical charge.


Also, to be honest, prices of PSU's are stupidly low anyway so you may aswell just bite the bullet and get a nice shiney new PSU.
