 hahaha! Very primitive solution Grinch, but very effective. in this age of automation where devices seem to lack power switches, sometime the best way to physically shut down a gadget is to, well, unplug....

Okay, heres another scenario....

Say, I have just built a 200mega ton Cold Fusion Reactor plant. but then i reallized that during nights when i am about to slomber, the plant emit this low level humming sounds which is very annoying and i just want to shut it down during the nights...any ideas?

It's funny that you should mention that. My reactor was doing the same thing although it's a lot smaller than the one you mentioned.

It turned out to be a bad ground wire.
