ram help!!!!!

I am getting a samsung 256ram pc 133 for my hp pavilion 7940.
will samsung work with a hp? or do i need to erase my bid on e-bay?

Yeah, just make sure its SDRAM. Your pc only supports up to 512mb RAM (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?product=58464&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=&docname=bph06582#) so make sure you dont go over that.

you ordered pc133 ram, you needed pc100...that WILL be a problem...

It shouldnt be a problem actually. If you are running PC133 in a system designed for PC100, the ram will just run at a lower speed.

i agree i have ddr 2700 and ddr 3200 and it just runs at 2700.

ah no way? That's cool....too bad pc100 is cheaper then pc133...I really need more ram but 133 is so expensive and so crappy...*mumbles* I guess that makes sense if it't 168pin sdram.
