I got new RAM for my computer (512mb DDR) and when I put it in the second slot next to my primary 256mb DDR, I turn on the computer and after like 2 minutes it just restarts for no apparent reason. Please help me. I have an HP pavillion 522c.

Swap the 512 into primary (closes slot to processor) see if it boots ,
if so ,install 256 in secondary.

Try memory test http://www.memtest86.com/ if you want to test out your RAM sticks.. just download the zip, burn the ISO to CD and you can boot off the CD and run the test.
