Ram problem

Ok ppl i'll try and keep this short

I bought 512mb of ram but it turns out that its not for Gaming or it says it does'nt meet the minimun RQ for the games. or something like that. (hell i don't fuging know) :lol:

would this ram be ok?:

WINTEC 512MB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 400 (PC 3200) System Memory
Or this:

OEM 1GB (1024MB) PC2100 266Mhz (128X4) DDR 184 PIN DIMM (High Density)

There is RAM designed for gaming? What type of RAM did you origionally buy? An exact error meesage will also help so we can find a solution for you.

512MB of RAM should be enough to run most games, but it also depends on video card and your processor a bit. Personally I would go for 1GB. PC3200 is faster than PC2100 but your motherboard needs to support PC3200.

If you could be more specific in the exact problem you are having such as what game you were trying to play, system specs and whatever else you can give us.
