Off hand I would say yes your mobo will support 769MB RAM.

To be sure though, what is the make and model of your mobo so we can check this for you.

If your not sure what your mobo is check out CPU-Z [ download at top left ] which will tell you most of the important stuff about your computer.

Either that, or take a look at the mobo itself.

Either way let us know what the make and model of mobo it is.

It should support it, but if its not the same PIN it will greatly reduce the capability of the RAM. But if it's the same pin, it should be totally fine. On my other computer I have a 128, 256, and 512 all on one mother board...Different PIN...So learn from my mistake.

You shouldn't be mixing 168PIN with 184PIN RAM anyway, thats just stupid.

Reason I asked what mobo he had was so we could determine what RAM he needed [ SDRAM, DDR, RIMM ] and also see what his max RAM mobo support was.

Always best to check before giving advice on a question as vague as his.
