Post 3+ Months Ago

I decided to increase the amount of ram that I currently have (2x512) for my new Asus A8V-X motherboard that just arrived. I haven't decided whether to add 2 more similar sticks, or a couple of 1GB sticks, but that is not the essence of my question. With my current motherboard, I believe that I recall that the BIOS has a voltage selection for the ram, but scanning the user manual of the new MB, I have found no mention of this. This has me wondering what would happen if the old and the new pairs of ram were of a different voltage? For that matter, the same question applies if they are of 2 different CAS values?
