I got a processor, but having problem finding out how many socket it has. This would help as i search for a new Motherboard.

All I know is that the Processor is an Intel Pentium 4 3.20Ghz HT.

What would you recommend for a MB? I would like 8 SATA slots, able to put at least 4GB of RAM in the future, at least 4 USB slot (2 at the front).

I bought this one a little while ago, I know it supports Intel Pentium 4 LGA775 (socket 775), but you'll want to check your processor to make sure it's compatible.

I'm about to assemble the computer tonight, actually, so I'll let you know what I think of it afterwards. ;)

It only has 6 SATA slots, so if you're looking for 8 this might not be for you. Also has 10 USB 2 ports (6 + 4).

I'm using it with a Core 2 Duo, so again, check before you consider it.

Also, 1333Mhz FSB, supports 4GB DDR2 memory, 8GB if your doing 64bit.

I had ASUS MB P5GV-MX for that processor which i bought at same time as the processor. That's what the vendor recomanded i should get. But it was faulty, so i returned it. The quality of costomer survices was poor and they tryed to rip me off, so not returning there.

Your processor is an LGA775 (socket 775) then.

Don't know if that would help you out.
