CD ROM drive does'nt close

hello everyone!!! i got a problem with my LiteOn CD rom drive, i doesnt close anymore but the drive can still open.. i just did an LED mod 
i change the green light to a blue one 
.. is there a way that i can fix it?? where should i start tracing that problem..

i just discvered that my cd rom drive do not read CDs anymore

you probly messed up with a wire or a chip

I would have to agree, probably messed up the track or the connection for it.
