Router Configuration

Hi folks hope someone can help going off me head :lol:

Just bought a router DC-202. To configuration it you have to use IP address 192.168.123.254.

this IP address wont load to configure it.

Dont understand what I am doing wrong, I have windows XP, Blueyonder Broadband.

your help is appreciated many thanks. :lol:

On the PC connected to the router, change the IP address to 192.168.123.1 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 and the gateway as 192.168.123.254.

Once that is done you should be able to connect to the router using the IP address in the manual.

Refer to appendix A of your manual on how to change your IP address on your computer.

Hi Grinch

Have tried the configuration

IP add 192.168.123.1
subnet 255.255.255.0
gateway 192.168.123.254.

also put in the DNS server address given to me by Blueyonder hope that ok

62.31.112.121
62.31.112.39

tried to enter the router config address again still no luck cant get on..going demented..lol..hope you can advise. many thanks m8.
