hi,

now i am planning to build my future gaming machine. i always use Asus Mobo, but now got lots of other good mobo out there..

I read Asus A8N SLI deluxe review, it seems pretty good. But i wan to hear more opinion about good mobo

My criterion is :
1. socket 939
2.with PCI-e
3. I am not planning to overclock it

HI...those asus are a bit problematic and the cooler not only is a bit noisy but they also tend to die before their time and cause a lot of probs (they are really bad...).
I would recomend you the MSI K8N SLI Platinum since you don´t want to overclock it (for that maybe the BSI)

That would be my recomendation if you wanted some harder overclock (when i mencioned BFI)...but msi is a very good and stable board (if you are looking for stability and good performance without oc i still recomend the msi..the BFI is more for overclockers...but still a great board, you´ll get well served by any one of them)

I have an ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe, I am not too happy with it. I would go for the DFI, I am sorry I didn't :(.

From the MSI web site: MSI Reminds you...1. NVIDIA nForce 3/4 Series board DO NOT support Windows® 98/ME

Sort of rains on yer parade if you have designs on multi-booting win98/xp/rh9 like I do, eh :? :?

A number of games that I'd like to be able to play once in a while, are not compatible with XPee nor 2K.
