ok i just want some info on SLI.
can i run 2 screens? or is it ment for 1
with SLI mode can i play a game on one screen and see my desktop and talk on msn on the other screen?
from doing that will i slow down my game? if so, is it much?

any disadvantages?

Here is a link to a post made back in June. I linked 2 sources that talk about it. It looks like SLI will not allow a dual monitor setup. Though one of the links outlines how to put a third vid card in to run a second monitor.
