Sound Card problem

after i install win xp, i got Opti 931 "Opti Aduio 16" i try to install this sound drive by updating this but it wouldn't do so. does any one have this or help me with? thx

2 suggestions --

1. did you try running windows update?
2. did you try going to the manufacturers website and download the
latest drivers?

i updated 5 times already WONT WORK
No website for me to get the lastest opti sound driver

i guess my sound is outdated

hook me up if u have this thx !!

I didn't look too closely to see if they have yours, because I'm going to bed, but this is an old resource for me. If I recall correctly, you'll have to register a free membership to download any drivers, but they don't send any spam emails so it's cool:

if you have the drivers then uninstall the device thru the control panel, system, device manager. Then install the sound card again and tell it you have the disk and point it to where you have the drivers. Enjoy :D
