If it's an OEM PC, you can easily find out what mobo you have. If not, open the box and look. Once you have that information, you can d/l the driver.

You can also download a program that will allow you to figure out what hardware you have installed such as CPU-Z or Lavasys Everest

From there you can figure out what mobo you have and download the driver.

Always start with the manufacturer's web site. If it's an Asus mobo, try their site first. If it's not their search google for "download Asus ____sound drive."
Fill in the name of the mother board or better yet, the name of the chip set. Of course, if it's not an Asus mobo, change the name.
