cs source dedicated server

hey guys i was wondering if i upload the cs source dedicated server program to a web hosting service (http://www.100webspace.com) will i be able to run the program and keep it running to allow people to connect to it and play a cs source game. they will connect to it usikng the ip address.

It won't work as far as I know. Plus, this isn't allowed by most webhosts since it takes so many resources.

oh okay well do you know of anyother ways of hosting that cause i really dont have any money but need a server?

You would need dedictaed hosting, which can be expensive. You could also try hosting it yourself but if you know nothing about setting up a game server you may have troubles.

Right now im running a Source Dedicated server.

With Mani Admin mod, The hardest thing was the Mani admin mod so setting it up shouldnt be that hard.

Seriously, Take a look on google and you should find ur answer and if worse comes to worse i can help you .

Ok, I have visited a number of different websites to help me with my dilemma but i have found no answer to my problem :cry: ...anyway so my problem is - how do you obtain new maps for your map cycle in the dedicated server and once you get the new map where do you put the downloaded information for it to wrok correctly?!

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!

it doesn't work. you need a private server. or if you have a real ip on your computer try to install on your computer

I didn't know you could have a fake IP.
