yeah... no doubt... thinkpad's prolly the honda of laptops... about as solid as you can get... they don't look nice and the basic ones ain't too wild, but they're mad reliable, cheap to fix and can kick ass if you pimp 'em out...

lol nice this is a unique conversation to say the least. ibm is now lenovo isnt it? oh well no biggie what would be the ford of the notebooks?
what about chevy and dodge?
and mayby we should expand this conversation to desktops. i think that would be interesting
Linux is user friendly... It's just selective about who its friends are.
And remember kiddies, Satan loves you

Anyway the Ferrari Notebook has an XP Home OS. That's a bit cheap I think. I'm not sure about the screen resolution but it should have at least an SXGA+ or WSXGA+

I dont know about anyone else, but I never use the standard image that comes on pre-build computers. I always immediately reload them. they come just so saturated with crap nowadays.

FAT32 is probably kiding the fact they are using a tiny 5400 rpm drive or a drive with a piss poor seek latency... Fat32 does have small speed advantages over NTFS. but NTFS is so much more worth it.
