I have a problem with my USB Drive. It's a Sandisk Cruzer Mini 256mb. Everything has worked fine before, but once I put it in, and try to access it, I get this error messege:

The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.

What should I do?

I can tell you all the specs of my machine and the usb drive, just ask.

What operating system?
Have you tried your USB drive in any other computer? If so does it work in them?

yea, ive tried it on all 3 of my computers

the error message comes up when i put it on a dell insprion 8200 notebook, but when putting it in my dimension XPS B1000 it just pauses the computer screen for a moment , and same with an Optiplex GX1

i only get the error messege on the inspiron, but the other computers just pause, and it also doesnt work on those computers

the inspiron 8200 is running winXp pro SP2
the dimension b1000 is running winXp home SP1
the optiplex is running winxp pro

if you need some other info, ill give it to you...im a tad bit too lazy to check now because of counterstrike
