For $400 I can get all this from a friend who's selling this stuff. All new, still in original packaging.

$400

- AMD 64 3500+
- Gigabyte K8N-SLI Mobo
- 1G Geil Ram
- Thermaltake Tower Heatsink
- 500W SmartPower Antec PSU

Is this a good deal for all that for 400 bucks?

I always was thinking on top of that I will need a HD, GPX, and some cd-rom/dvd-rws.

I´m not the best to advise in this kind of things since i live in a different country.but looking more or less the overall price buying that stuff new would be more or less $500 (i think).if it´s all new it´s not a bad business (and the components are all very good),but still i don´t know if i would give that much (depending on the use time,if it has still warranty, etc))

Looks decent to me, probally would cost ya a little more to buy the stuff yourself, not a killer deal but still a deal.

That is a very good deal. The 3500+ is worth $200 alone.
