would anyone have any tips to make your own computer.... for example how to put the pieces together, what to wear so you wont damage the parts.. etc? thank you

you can go to basically any pc store and buy an Anti static bracelett thing costs about 10 bucks or less
but if u want just post it here and people will give u more bang for ur buck....i built my dream pc for 1700 bucks and it would originally cost 4000
and u could check on google how to connect what to what and also you could look at ur current pc if its not a laptop and do the same thing

Static wristband is a difinate. Also when buying a case I would highly reccomend one with a removeable motherboard tray it makes things a lot easier.

Your motherboard manual will tell you everything. If you can stick part A into part B, you can build a computer.

lol, TomK is right. I never realised how easy it was to build a pc. All you need to do is "put thing A into slot A".

Um....dude....what is a x300? The only x-series ati to my knowlewdge is the 800.

ATI doesn't even have it listed under their comparison chart.

X300 is just another ATI series of video cards... maybe if you go to the web you can find better info on it :roll:

The X300 is ATI's budget PCIE grapfics card, like the Geforce FX5200 or the new Geforce 6200.
