I hope this thread is sufficant for this question. I was wondering what are the top 5 PC games that demand the most from our PC hardware. From what I have read would be.

Doom 3
Fear
Far cry

Well thats all I know as of now. Since I am new to pc gaming.

I though Joint Ops need was good on very high graphics.

If your that worried about it why don't you just get a new rig my rig cost 1700 aus and i got a
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ that rates at about 3.00 g and that isnt overcloked
4Gb 4x1gb corsair 800mz
2x8800GTS Gigabyte 320MB
20" LG Widescreen Monitor
and i can run all them games at 1680x1050 on hi quality
and not get any lag

That would be all nice for him to buy but this thread was from May 2006 The 6000+ would cost around $2000 bucks back then :)
